Hi,
Most of the low voltage terminals match up with their letter designation,
O is orange, powers up controls valve in cooling mode
G is Green, powers up the fan in cooling mode and the fan ON position on most stats.
Y is yellow, Powers up the compressor.
R is red, 24 volts
RH, 24 volts for heating
RC, 24 volts for cooling
B is blue Powers up reversing valve for heating,
W is white First stage of heating.
W2 No color, powers up second stage of heating.
AUX Same as W2,
Others have
T is brown Heat anticipator
X is black Emergency heat, though can be a common on some older stats.
L is usually pink, can be different. Powers up an indicator light that Emergency heat is
on.
C is common , usually brown. 24 V common.
