Question
My temperature gage on my ponitac 2004 grand am is at 200 when moving but can get to 220 when idle. the red hot gage starts at 240-260. Nothing seems to be wrong, but is this something that should concern me? what is the normal range for the gage to run.

As long as the gauge is staying at 220 or below you really do not have anything to worry about it is normal for the gauge to fluctuate between 220 and 190 or so.

Thank you so much. I was stressing out watching the gage while I drive. I drive 100 miles a day on the highway. I was concerned with summer comming and traffic jams.
