my 12 yr old male cat has a type of stomach cancer, he has been on chemo for almost a year, last night for no reason he had a nose bleed. He never had one before, what could it be from?

Already Tried:
just wiped his nose, put some pressure on it and it stopped. Did not re-occur. It's been alomst 12 hrs since it happened.
