How do I remove the mildew odor from dry clean only clothing? I have many suits that got wet due to my roof caving in from Hurricane Katrina. I sent them to the dry cleaners but they all came bace smelling like mildew. Awaiting your reply. Thank you. My email address is vbilliot1@yahoo.com

place calcium carbonate crystals or activated charcoal in an open container and store with clothes in closet or sprinkle soda directly on fabric and let stand; then shake.

There is also Febreze Antimicrobial contains a special ingredient that eliminates 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria on fabrics. I have not used it, so I'm not sure about it, but so far with all the Febreze products I have used, I do like them!

Reply to Lindie's Post: By soda, I would assume that you mean baking soda? Where can I get calcium carbonate crystals or activated charcoal? Thank you for your help.
