Since Hurricane Katrina, We have had the worst case of "love bugs"(don't know scientific name)that I have ever seen. They are swarming everywhere. I can't walk into or outside my house without being covered with them. They are all over everything! I even had one floating in my coffee this morning. Any advice on how to control this situation will be greatly appreciated. Is there anything that will help? All of us living in this area are desperate for some advice that really works. Is there any hope?

They are related to the fly. We put up those fly tapes that you hang up. We just use it in our back door area. But with it being wet and humid that is what they enjoy the most. The good thing, they are only around for a couple of weeks. So hang in there.. in the mean time.. pick up some of those fly tapes where you have your morning coffee

Here is a link.. it does explain they don't do US harm.. they are just a pain. Not to mention very bad for our cars paint!
