Question
I was asked to look at a volvo penta 2003 which stalls immediatly when the throttle is pulled back and will not idle and is difficult to start. The engine has been fully rebuilt and has good compression and valves correctly set. I am satisfied that there is not a problem with air in the fuel. Looks like someone has been fiddling with the volume screw as it seems to be set fairly far out. Do you have any info or a rough guide for where it should be set as there is no info in the manual which the owner has given me.

Hi Mark,
I'll be happy to help you with your Volvo question but I will need the model of the engine so that I know what you are working on.
