my 97 nissan altima will not start unless you pop the clutch, what is the problem

Hi there,

 

The vehicle is equipped with a neutral start switch for safety concerns and it requires the clutch to be depressed before the starter can be cranked. This is expected and there is nothing wrong with your vehicle.
