My pet rat has cancer. I need to put her "down". I'm extremely low-income and need to know the least expensive way to have this done.

Hi,
I am so sorry you have to go through this. It is always hard to loose a pet. The Best suggestion is to go to the closest Animal Control or Humane Society. They will have you sign the rat over to them and will usually Euthanize the animal for a very low fee or in most cases no charge at all. Where I live the humane Society charge $15.00 as a donation for the service. Joan
