Question
I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertable lxi- the oil light lights up whenever I turn a corner . The dip stick indicates a good oil level. The mileage is only 79,000 miles. Any ideas?

Hi, To rule out the possibily of a faulty sending unit it would be best to do an engine oil pressure test with a mechanical gage connected. If the test shows that the pressure is dropping on turns, then the problem would be in the oil pump pick up in the oil pan. It may be due to sludge blocking the screen or an air leak on the pick up tube. If the test gauge shows no drop in pressure ,the oil pressure sending unit or wiring would be the problem.
