Question

I recently purchased a 2008 Vibe with approximately 29,000 miles. Frequently I can hear a clanking sound when I turn and or go down an incline from a driveway to the street. I believe the sound is coming from the front end, steering, and or suspension areas.

I have taken the Vibe back to the car dealer, and they could not find anything wrong. The clanking sound does not happen all the time. I am assuming that the service department looked at the front end. I also had a realignment done at this visit to the dealer.

Accepted Answer

I would think its either a strut bearing or swar links or bushings. Its not uncommon for a frt wheel drive to have a little suspension noise but i would have those double checked
