It was the cam code with the pulstars I did have the code removed by a mech then I installed the +4 bosh and never had the problem again also with the pulstar plugs installed if I had to get on it to pass some one and my radar detector was turned on it would light up like a xmas tree then when i got out of the throttle it would go back to normal, now keep in mind this is the second set of plugs (pulstars) I tried the company replaced the first set to make sure that the plugs were not bad, I have tried this the back and forth between plugs three or four times and every time the same thing

Answer

The problem with the pulsestars is what is called EMF or electro magnetic interference. That is created by the pulse part of the plug. Funny thing is that back in the old days they made spark plugs specifically the opposite of pulsestars to stop that. I guess the pulse star people forgot about basic electricity.

So can I run these plugs or sould I just stick with the bosh and if I use the pulstars will it hurt my engine Cause I have way to much money in this car to take the chance

Accepted Answer

Please stick with normal plugs like the ones you are using now and you will be ok. Honestly the best plugs come from GM.
