I quit taking 60MG Cybalta 7 days ago and since then I have been feeling dizzy, lightheaded and nauseaed. How long should this go on?

Hello macm,

I assume you are mentioning about Cymbalta!

If yes, Cymbalta (Duloxetine) has to be taper down to avoid withdrawal effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting etc. Usually patient tolerate 50 % dose reduction in first three days, and another 50% in next 3 to 4 days.

But if withdrawal symptoms emerge during discontinuation or after it, the dose need to be raised under the supervision of your doctor and then again dose reduction to be started at much more slower rate.

So I guess, if these are withdrawal symptoms, you need to consult your doctor who will take the appropriate step.
