My kenmore side/side refrigerator, model 253.53713301 will not come out of Ice crush load. It will not go back to cubes. I am only getting crush ice. I changed filter only, and problem began. Why???

When you push the button for cubes does the light stay on that setting or does the light go back to crushed option...?

Light stays on cube setting. yet I get only crush ice.

So when you press Crushed ice it stays on Cube...never even lights up crushed..

try unplugging the frige for 5 minutes and see if it will re-set itself if not you will ne a dispencer control board

Slow down ther Wilbur...Ok this is the diagram of your dispenser....I would remove and check your wire connections on board....If all is Ok then the control board needs to be replaced....Thanks Bob

I tried the unplug the refigerator, but it did not reset. Must be PC board panel. Will hae to check it later,....running late for a doctoe appointment.

Yep, I guess it is. Since I am wheel-bound, and disabled, I will have to wait till my son-in-law, or my bother-in-law come to visit next month to check it out. So this is all I can till then. Thank you for your help. Your info was very useful.
