Hi
Thanks for the question,Are the hinges worn at the bottom,Could I have the Model # please
The door operates smothly with no apparent wobble, so I do not see any visible sign of worn hinges.
the Model Number is GLRT186TAWO
the Serial Number is BA15110465, and
manufactured number is 12-01
We have had to tape the light swith down (no Light Position) otherwise the door will not close. The light switch along with the controls are in the middle near the top of the refergerator. Without the switch taped down, and when the door is closed it hits the light switch and will not close - it remains open.
I hope this helps

The Appliance Doc
DocJohn174,
The hinge at the bottom, according to the diagram has fastners numbered 42, 30, 56 and 34. Do a loosen all of these fastners and then pry the door up? Is there a point that is too high?
I'm just worried if I start the repair is there a point on now return and I need to hire an expert and while I am waiting the refrigerator door can not be used?
Thank you for your prompt answer, now I am looking for the courage to try it.
