Good morning: Thanks for getting back to me. The Whirlpool Model G11500XHX3 Ice Maker was given to us by a friend who is a plumber. It appeared to work well except for the "marching" sound it makes. We were told to use an ice maker cleaner which should help, we did, and it didn't. It doesn't make as many cubes as it should. My husband cleaned it, vacuumed the coil, etc. but it still makes that sound. So it's now unplugged!

My husband thinks it may be a relay, not letting enough water in???

Thanks for your help.
