Question

My 95 camaro keeps over heating whenever i drive it for longer than 15 mins. Its a 3.4 l v6 and it has a new water pump and radiator. The thermostat is fine. I believe its the fan. Whenever i drive it doesnt turn on, but if i start the car when its already warm, it will kick on then turn off once the temperature is back to normal. Any ideas? I think its the in-cylinder head thermal switch

Answer

HI XXXXXXXX;

I WOULD REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT SENSOR FAN SWITCH IN THE RADIATOR.   MAKE SURE THE RADIATOR IS TOTALLY FULL SO THE IS NO AIR POCKETS, THAT WOULD CAUSE THE SENSOR NOT TO WORK RIGHT.   YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY.   THANK YOU FOR USING JUST ANSWER.

THANK YOU,

XXX XXXXXX
