Hi
I have two 6 month old budgies. both have been flying around fine. recently my female has been struggling to gain height when flying and really seems to struggle to fly. The male whizzes round the room no problem and the female tries to follow! She failed to land on the top of a kitchen cupboard 2 weeks ago and fell onto the work surface and down onto the floor, but has flown since then. Her chest seems to have gotten much bigger, do you think it may be she's too heavy? I feed them on trill bird seed with an odd millet spray and fresh fruit every other day? She is also still moulting. any help would be much appreciated.
