I took my car through a car wash and something got went and my car died. In two weeks it dried out and i restarted my car but it won't stay running. As long as my foot is on the gas it will run but as soon as i let off it dies then back fires. any ideas?

i took it to a shop and they said that as soon as they hooked my car up the modules were not reading..

These vehicles with the electronics box (under the hood, in the firewall) filling with water from some kinds of car washes. The engine control module (DME) needs to be replaced and the electronics box drains unclogged.
