i have a bmw e46 330 se 2001.my heater is permanantly on 32 degrees,i turn it down to 16 but it still blows hot air,its seems to be only blowing hot from the top & the bottom,the vents blow the right temp,the air con works but only through the vents,but while im blowing the air con through the vent im getting hot from everwhere else.is this a commen fault? is there a resistor or thermostat somewhere that i can replace to fix this problem? im not sure how this works so i will leave my e mail address just in case thats how you need to get back to me. Sounds like the ac system is low on freon. This is something a shop will need to do as working with freon is dangerous. They should refill the system and check for leaks.
