Answer

Hi,

Rigor mortis can start to set in as soon as 10 minutes after death, or it can take several hours depending on the temperature. The colder it is the longer it takes. On average, it has fully set in after about 3 hours.

will it normally starts with the legs? what condition eyes flips/become white?

Answer

It usually starts with the facial muscles and spreads to other parts of the body. The legs may be the first obvious place you notice it. Seizures or other neurological problems could cause your cat's eyes to roll back in their in head so that the white is showing.

What is Seizures or neurological problems?

Posted by Lynn 214 days and 1 hours ago.

Answer

Hi,

Neurological problems are any having to do with the central nervous system which would mainly be caused by the brain. Seizures are when the animal loses awareness of what's going on, the muscles may stiffen, they may be tremors, sometimes their eyes roll back in their head, etc. Here is a link to a page about seizures:

Accepted Answer

There are many different neurological conditions. Some, such as a brain tumor, can definitely cause death within this time frame. Others may never cause death, but only symptoms throughout the cat's life.
