Question

my screen saver quite working
i keep getting toshiba flash cards not working, signed up for driver detective since was told that would fix it, still get message.
cant install new lexmark printer , says SSID number that i enter does not exist
internet connection keeps disconnecting, this is my 2nd try to reach you for help, since I keep getting disconnected

Help!!!

First, I need more information in order to assist you. Have all the issues above just started at the same time? The issues I see listed above include:

 

1. Wireless connection drop off so cannot connect to the Internet

2. Not able to install Lexmark printer software

3. Screen saver not working

4. Flash card (compact flash card?) not working

 

Also, what is the model number of your Toshiba PC?

Ok, well the screen saver hasnt been coming on for about a month.

 

I purchased the printer at Xmas time tried in January

 

I never even knew what flash card was, so when it started popping up with the message I was not sure how important it was, it started about a week ago

Your going to think I'm an idiot but cant find owners manual, where on machine is the

model number located?

Hello -

 

Which operating system is running on your PC - is it Windows Vista?

 

Since there are several issues and they all started about a month ago, do the following to roll back your computer system configuration to a date before the issues first started to occur:

 

 

1. Click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools.
2. Select System Restore and click Next.
3. Select a Restore Point that was prior to when the issue occurred and press Next and then Next again.
4. After the restore the computer will reboot.

 

Let me know if the above resolves all or some of the issues.
