i am looking at purchaseing a property but it needs completley renovating, windows, doors, electric, boiler, kitchen bathroom etc. any ideas how much that would cost?

Do you have an idea of the type of materials you wantto use? Prices of flooring, countertops, windows, all can vary in prices depending on quality and make. Granite vs formica, carpet vs tile, etc...

hi, i really dont know. first time buyer, i was hopein 2 get a mortgage about 20k more than the price of the house an use that 2 do it up. i'd like it to look nice and i dont like cheap rubbish but i like to save money as i dont have any ;-) i would like laminate floors, and i do like granite worktops but im a bargin hunter.

It will difficult to remodel your kitchen, bathrooms, windows, doors, electric and flooring for under 20K. If you are handy and can do the work without a contractor involved then it is feasible. My suggestion would be to get the extra money in your mortgage and start taking bids on the work. Prioritize what needs to be done and invest the money accordingly. For me to quote you a price without knowing materials and quantities would be misleading for your project. Get quotes and ask for prices on the diff types of flooring, windows, countertops, etc...Best of luck with your home.
