Question

I have an Asko 1385 dishwasher. It is draining properly, I am not getting water to the machine. The valves are open. I took the filters apart and cleaned them. I took the sprayer arms off and checked to see if they were clogged and they are not. After fiddling with the dishwasher, checking different things, I removed the filters completely and I heard the water valve open and the machine started operating. I took a soft brush and fed it up into the water intake as far as I could get it, nothing on the brush and no obstructions. I shut the door again without the filters, turned it on and nothing. Tried all settings, on the third try it started again. I let it run for a cycle, put it back together again, turned it on and nothing. Took it apart, nothing. Tried all the settings, nothing. Tried one more time and it came on. Could it be the intake valve?

How do I get to the valve, is it a major job? We have one company that services Asko in the area and they charged me over $500 to fix a leak.
