Question

While working alone on the sales floor,that normally has no less than 2 and as many as six,several customers came in at once.I was trying my best to attend to them all .I approached a couple and showed them chart that applied to what fitted their needs and moved on.I forgot about them.Our department has many large and obstructive signs of which they were behind.She confronted me while I was attending someone else and I tried to explain that we were short of help and I was trying my best.She replied "NO you are not ". I said I was sorry that my best was not good enough.The customer I was waiting on was there before her,yet I doubt she would agree withthis.
(Large signs,ect.)I feel she will file with corporate claiming I ignored her because she is a minority..I am a professional with over 22 yrs.with this comany.I ALLWAYS give my utmost respect to everyone !I truly believe she will claim I ignored her on purpose.ANYONE who knows me KNOWS better!I just want to be prepared and need help !
