Have been afraid to do anything yet. She doesn't act very sick, just laying around and then will play for awhile. She did eat some scrap food we had taken out to the woods and thought we had covered but checked after she threw up and it was gone. She eats everything, loves charcoal and gravel!!
Accepted Answer
HI,
102 is high NORMAL. Above 102.5 would be considered a problem. If your dog is throwing up, stop all food and water for at least 4-5 hours. Make sure no toxic elements could be involved (such as garbage, medicines, antifreeze, houseplants). After 4-5 hours if there is no more vomit, you may begin a diet of 50 percent rice and 50 percent boiled chicken. This diet should be continued for a few days before slowly returning to the normal diet. If the vomit continues or diarrhea is added, please seek veterinary care as soon as possible.
Best of luck,
