Question

I have a Burnham Oil Boiler with a Beckett controler and I ran out of oil and attempted to restart twice but didn't bleed it enough and the third attempt gives me a lockout. How do I overide to finish bleeding and restart??

Hello g,

 

Hold the reset down for 30 sec and start all over. You may have to turn power off to the unit and back on, but usually a 30sec hold will reset. Let me know how you do.

No luck, tried that several times, does not reset. Took off the line and plenty of fuel getting to it. I have a three filter setup, one on the tank one inside that goes into a three line clear filter. I tapped on that filter and the line of fuel went from half way to almost the top but it didn't help anything. I still need to get it to reset so I can finish bleeding it to run.

What is the model and make of your oil burner primary?

I am attaching a tech manual on a primary that I feel is either the one you have or one very close to it.

 

Refer to reset section of restricted lockout.
