Question

I have a Frigidaire furnance (Model FG6RA120C-16). Everytime it goes to fire up, I see the ignitor light up and then when it's time to light the gas it doesnt do anything and then the red light flashes two times meaning pressure switch stuck open. Well two days ago I replaced the pressure switch cause it was doing what I described above. I've cleaned the airbox, flame sensor and also checked for blockage in the vent. I've even hooked the two wires on the pressure switch to a toggle switch to manipulate the circuit board to think the pressure switch was open and closed when it was supposed to be. Still no flame. Now I'm thinking either gas valve, ignitor, or thermostat. Whats your thoughts?

Hello,

My opinion is the gas valve, but do you have a meter you could check something with?

I am attaching the wiring diagram here-

You should have a brown and yellow wire going to the gas valve, they come from pin 2 & 4 on a molex plug off the circuit board.

When the ignitor glows for aprox 25-30 secs you should get 24 volts between the brown and yellow wire on the gas valve. If you do not, it is a bad circuit board.
