i have a 2000 chevy blazer 2door 4wd, i am hearing bubbling under the dash passengerside while pressing on gas pedal, is the sound the heater core going bad, or something else?

Answer

Yes, the heater core either has air in it or a partial blockage. You can try disconnecting the heater hoses at the firewall and backflushing the heater core with air or water. If unsuccessful you need a new heater core...in order to replace that you need to remove the entire dash assembly.
