z = (x - μ)/σ
= (13.0 - 15.0)/3.0
= -2/3
= -0.67

b.
z = (x - μ)/σ
= (12.0 - 15.0)/3.0
= -3/3
= -1

proportion = 0.1587
= 15.87%
