Question

Hi can you tell me why my combi boiler keeps switching its self off and then back on later then off, its gone crazy, the power light flickers and you can smell a little gas when boiler first comes on, can you give me any info please, the boiler man cant find a problem had them out three times now and spent a fortune. thanks Mary

it sounds like the flame sensor is going bad. did he change it or clean it

The man cleaned it he also put on a new fan and a new board,when the boiler goes off there is no power light , also when its on it flickers can you tell me why

sometimes cleaning wont work i would replace it first then start from there. There are others on here that may give you diffrent advice but me personely replace it first
