Hi
There are different medications used for urinary incontinence in dogs. The most commonly used medication is phenylpropanolamine (Proin, Propalin) and this is generally considered to be quite safe to use in dogs with renal failure.
Estoven is an estrogen hormone sometimes used and this is also considered safe although the patient should be monitored for anemia.
If you are enquiring about another medication please contact me back with its name.
I hope I have been of assistance.
Kindest regards, Peter
