Question

In my H2, I pushed down the locking mechanism on both rear passenger doors (trying to fix the child lock system) and now the doors will not close. I've tried to manually move the "c" shape mechanism back to its original position. I've also tried using a tool. I need to get this fixed in order to drive it in a few hours. Is there a way to undo this?

Hello XXXXXXXXX,

Sounds like the latch is in the normally closed position with the door opened.

In most cases, you can simply pull the inside release handle or outside door release handle and hold it up while you are using a small tool to push the latch back into the opened position.

If I understand you correctly, you need to push the latch back to the opened position. Remember to hold the release handle up or the inside release handle out while you are pushing the latch back to open.

I hope this helps
