Hi there XXXXXXXXXX,
Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear about your boy who you think may have a broken leg!! It is imperitive that you try and get him to a Vet in a neighboring town as soon as possible as they may be further internal injuries and/or bleeding and this boy will also have a degree of shock and be in quite a lot of pain. In the meantime, you need to keep him quiet and rested and lie him on the opposite side to the side you think has the fractured leg. Keep him still and don't let him try to stand up. Definitely offer him plenty of water as he will need to increase his fluid intake due to potential shock.
The sooner he gets to a Vet clinic the better as he will most likely need IV fluids, pain relief and a full physical examination before anything further is carried out.
Best of luck with him and do let me know how you get on.
Thank you and please now click ACCEPT.

Thank you so much for your help. We finally found an after hours clinic in little rock. our four county area seemed to be on spring break. Our boy had no broken bones or internal injuries, just badly bruised and he called it a lame leg. He's all wrapped up with a soft splint on his leg and plenty of meds! Again, I appreciate your help with our Bumps..
