Question

My 62-year old fiance' unexpectedly and cruelly called off our engagement after 11 months. I am 54. We were four (4) months away from the wedding date. What is the precedent in the state of Georgia regarding the return of the engagement ring? So far, I have found that the precedent in GA is the engagement ring is an unconditional gift. Can you please confirm?
