Not in general. CPS will not intervene unless there is abuse or neglect. Thus, if you are leaving the children unattended or with strangers for long periods of time, this could be a ground for them to investigate. SImilarly, if they can prove you are overly intoxicated when in the presence of the children this could be a ground. However, just going out to a bar on weekend nights is not alone a sufficent ground to remove the children from the home.
