I have a 2005 chevy cobalt 2door a yellow light just came on and the light looks like a the shape of a motor maybe something else not sure what the light is for sure hoping you can help me i don't have a book on my car.Thank you Charlotte

Hello. My name is Jason and I'd like to help. That is the check engine light. You will need to get the codes checked. If it is still running ok that usually means there are no major problems but it is still a good idea to get it looked at. Any Auto Zone or Advanced Auto parts can check the codes for you. If you like go and have them pull the codes and write them down and send them to me and we will see what is going on with it. I don't see any major problems ever with these cars so it is probably something simple. Thank you and I look forward to working with you!
