The price can vary greatly depending on where you live and what size company you choose to use. The ones with the biggest adds are usuallypriced high but in most cases you don't want to go to small either in my opinion especially in todays economy where you want to make sure whoever you choose will be well trained and in good financial shape without being too high priced. In Metro Atlanta this job installed would run between 2000-3000.
Considering the nature of the question I answered after JBM Feel free to pay him instead of me since he answered 1st
Jim is right, if you go with a big name company your going to pay more but the work will be done right. If you go small, it will be cheaper but greater chance of something going wrong.
Personally i could get the equipment and sell it for probably 1000-1300 depending the original contractors rate, but i am self employed and apart of a small company in PA. i would count more in the 1500-2000 range to be safe, obviously it also depends where you live
