Hello. It's not really very hard to do - the hardest part if finding a place to put the fresh water tank and whatever fixtures you will install. You will need a fresh water pump, which will maintain pressure in the system (it runs only when you release pressure by running water). You can use flexible fresh water hose with standard fittings to connect from your tank to the pump and then from the pump onward to the fixtures - all of this is readily available in most marine stores (e.g., West Marine, Boaters World, etc.) as well as online. Remember when you are locating your fresh water tank(s) that water weighs about 7 pounds per gallon, so you need to allow for that weight, especially if it's off center. You will also want to add a switch to control the pump so you can turn the system off when not in use.

I just saw the feedback you left. You did not need to accept my answer - there is an opportunity for give and take in this forum, and you should only accept when you are happy with an answer. As to your comments, of course the information is available elsewhere - what information isn't? Yes, it's all available in a catalog - did I know that you knew that? You also said "No reference was given about a preferred layout or system design" - did you really expect that I could design a fresh water system for you without even knowing the make of your boat, and without seeing it? And for $9? I think you need to be a little more realistic. I'll be glad to help you with specific questions, but there are certainly limits to what can be done in this forum.

BTW, I do need to correct one thing I said in my answer: water weighs about 8 pounds per gallon, not 7 as I said.
