I just put new battery in my 98 sebring jxi convertable . I had thought I may have some other electrical problems before I replaced the battery. I had not replaced the battery since 2003. so I was hoping this was my main problem. I parked the car fri nite and did not try to start it until today. well dead as a door nail again . Some one told me this type and year has an electrical problem that causes drain on the battery Could someone tell me about that? I spent this months food money on my battery install. I am old as dirt and disabled, I am hoping someone can help me work on it my self as I just do not have money for a dealership hourly rate help what is causing my new battery to drain. please help. Do you have a volt/ohm meter?

Try disconnecting the hood light and the glove box light first to see if it will go dead.
