need to replace the information unit that is under the radio and heater unit in the car dash ... it shows temp out side and provides data i guess mine isall brned out and can not rad . what is it called /// and cost to buy part and replace .. thanks

Answer

There is a bulb behind the display that burns out so you cant read the display. I would check/replace that bulb before replacing the complete unit. The bulb part number is 62111391260 it is $2.22 for it. If you end of needing the complete unit the part number is 65818357684 it is $603.05 for it.

Insert a feeler-gauge blade of approx. 0.9 to 1 mm between frame and lower shelf. Starting on the right-hand side, depress the locking lever and lever out the display unit. Pull off connectors. Installation: After replacement, the on-board computer must be recoded. refer to Diagnosis/Encoding
