Hi, yes. I think I gave you the wrong codes. Do I need the Nav ser # in order to get a code? Can I get the Ser # from a diag screen or do I need to remove? I just tried this but was unable to get the serial number.
You can get to the unit serial number from the diagnostic menu. Turn the ignition on, press and hold the following buttons in order, 1:Menu 2:Map/Guide 3:Cancel hold these buttons down for about 5 seconds and the diagnostic screen should come up. Then select unit check from the menu. Then navi/ecu screen , the serial number should be displayed on the bottom of the screen.

That procedure will only work if the unit is up and running.
You can get the serial number from the bottom of the unit that the disc goes in.
You might be able to read it with a small mirror, or just take the unit loose from the seat and look
