Answer
Hello,
The pumps can collect water in the bottom this can wear out the pump.
I would drill a small weep hole in the bottom to prevent this.
I would first check to make sure you do not have a blown fuse.
There is also a check valve behind the engine where it connects to the exhaust.
The valves stick when they get old.

fuses and relay are good and I want it to see if the pump works so I conect it to my battery and it run.Do i have to replace it anyway?
Accepted Answer
If the fuse for the pump is ok the pump should be fine for now.
If the fuse was blown it would indicate the pump was drawing to much amperage.
