I had a american express card and they send me to collection and the collection company does not want to work with me I really believe that they are going to try to sue me. What can I do?

Dear XXXXXX - They have a right to sue you if you owe the money and have not paid. They are not required to "work with" you or to arrange for a settlement or payment plan. If they file a suit you will have to defend the action in court.
