Question

i was taking the blue roxy's for severe back pain for a while .but now i have been taking ,over the weekend , something called suboxins(don't know how to spell it ) to get me off of them without the withdrawls. i took a 1/2 of one today at 12:30 p.m. but i hurt my back again ,is it safe to take a percocet 10 for my pain or will it make me sick?

Hi XXXXXXXXX,

 

I would not recommend using percocet within 24 hours of taking suboxone. This combination can be dangerous- it can cause lethargy, sedation, and may impair your mental abilities. In fact, you should only take suboxone under your physician's direction and supervision.

 

You should not take any narcotics at this point. Try ibuprofen or tylenol for now.
