We had and asked and paid for a simplified arbitration,paper work
only. In March of 08 a letter from Finra from Hollace Steele Case
Assistant that our broker under Rule 2130 the arbitrator requested
a telephone conference regarding our broker request for expungement.
We called the office of Finra and asked if we needed to have council,we were told we did not need conncil. A date was set for the
phone conference call for April 2,08. When the call came in on that
date, on the phone was the arbitrator,our broker and his lawyer, and
my wife and I. It become a hearing. Both our broker and his Atty.
explaing how he handled our finances.This conference call was for one reason only and was for our broker Expungement, which was denied.
We got a letter from Finra outcome of the simplified Arbitration
"Hearing" it was dated April 9.08 decision made by the arbitrator
was made after the conference call April.2,08 I have complained to
Finra no Luck.Procedure to Right to File Motion to Vavate Award. Any party wishing to challenge the award must make a motion to vavate the award in a Federal or State court. Note if you look in Finra
