Accepted Answer

XXXXXXXXX, you'll need to take the car to a volvo specialist with the VIDA computer system, or the dealer for a transmission software upgrade. what your feeling is the neutral control function in the transmission.

neutral control is a program in the computer that puts the car in neutral while at a stop and foot on the brake. the system didnt work well once the cars got miles on them and so volvo takes the function out of the software with the upgrade.
