succession was opened in 1990, court twice, hired 4 lawyers, all take money and walk away after a period of time. 420 acres of land, two gas wells, 8 buildings, etc.

yes, but there are circumstances. this divorce of filed and obtained by the lawyer. not the spouse.

If a judge granted the divorce then the marriage is over. A former spouse is free to remarry after after waiting the requisite time to get a license.
