I just recently did a front brake job, pads and rotors, and now there is a noise at all speeds from the right side. Any suggestions?

1994 Chevy Suburban, sorry, in the front left and a kinda squeal, not sure of specific location.

Answer

generally squeals come from a hard spot in the pad, you can try removing the pads making sur the slides are lubed well and apply anti squeal on the pad backing, i would exchange the pads and try the anti squeal

So if I remove the pads an rotors and take back the used pads to the auto store (if needed), they'll replace them?

Posted by JOHN aka Eautosales 280 days and 1 hours ago.

Answer

i would take the pads back and tell them they are noisey....most parts stores will exchange......it might be a good idea to upgrade to a bteer pad if they have a better one
