Question

I am currently on a mixed medication of prednisone 5mg, tylenol with codeine #3 30mg, avelox 400mg and nasonex aqueous for a sinus infection. I went to a party tonight a did a bit of cocaine. My face basically all went numb well in the sinus areas anyway. Which one of the prescribed drugs would have caused this?

Answer

Moxifloxacin can cause such feeling of esthenia, numbness etc

It has a strong interaction with morphine and cocaine.

You shoud strictly avoid things liek cocain as these put you at increased risk of fatal arrythmias and also heart attacks because of constriction of blood vessels.

Best wishes
