My English Bulldog, Laurel, has started her first heat August 22. How much longer will she be in heat and bleeding everywhere?

Answer

A normal heat will last a total of 3 weeks. The first week they are basically coming in the second week spotting and the third week going out. You should have aprox. 7-10 days of actual bleeding. You can buy panties for her at the pet shop or you can even try a pair of human briefs with a pad if she is inside and making a mess. If you found this helpful please remember to accept it.
